The 2K Bow Ball has only been in production since Henley Royal Regatta in UK and Canada this year (had our bow balls on competing crews at both events), we have already achieved good sales growth with our UK distributor selling more in one month than they usually do in a year thanks to the innovative design that offers extra safety performance and great durability.
This is because the injection moulded strengthened coloured core is over-moulded with the softer outer white layer. The core offers good strength around the drilled fixing hole and because the white layer protects the core from sunlight the material never deteriorates ensuring great durability and value for money. So much so, boat clubs are ordering enough to replace all their bow balls in the fleet.
Sales across Europe are about to increase as Wintech Europe is now fitting the 2K Bow Ball to all new boats and their distributors will be selling the products as spares in Czech Republic, Russia, Germany, France, Spain and Italy.
Our bow balls are also being fitted to Janouseks and Stampfli boats that are exported all over the world. We are still looking for distributors and wholesalers in America, Canada, South Africa and Australia. We have Leander Club and OUBC fitting bow balls to their fleet as we speak, just need to get them on some GB squad boats now.
